First day of school

The first day of pre-first was full of learning, read-alouds, making new friends, and FUN!  We read First Day Jitters, which is a cute story about a girl who is extremely nervous about her first day at a new school.  Please make sure you ask your daughters who the new girl was in the story.  The girls were then given some special "jitter juice" to chase their own nerves away.  Later, your daughters made sunglasses depicting what they did on their summer vacations and we also had french and p.e..  It was a fun-filled and active day as we saw quite a bit of yawns by 2:45.  We love having your girls in our room and we are excited to see what this year will bring!
