Plant journals

After an exciting unit on seeds, your daughters will finally be bringing home their plant journals.  The girls did a great job of documenting the growth of their sunflowers over the past few weeks.  Included in the packet are some additional pages on how and why seeds grow.  They should be very proud of themselves and the hard work of nurturing a plant!

Telling time

We started our mini-unit on time today.  We discussed the difference between analog and digital clocks and read a great story, Telling the Time, as a wonderful introduction to the basics of telling time.  The girls were given a challenge to find an analog and digital clock in their house.  We are very interested to see what they find!
